Además de permitir el seguimiento de los niveles máximos permisibles de contaminantes criterio como el PM10 definidos en la Resolución 610 de 2010 de Min Ambiente. Servir de insumo para el cálculo de indicadores ambientales propios del Observatorio Ambiental de Bogotá.</idPurp>
<idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;El objeto geográfico almacena las curvas de interpolación de las concentraciones de Material Particulado menor a 10 micras (PM10) representado mediante un intervalo de PM10 medido en µg/m3 - microgramos por metro cúbico para el área urbana de Bogotá D.C., localizado mediante coordenadas planas cartesianas en el sistema de referencia Magna-Sirgas.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Temáticamente da cuenta de los valores de concentración de PM10, periodo de medición anual&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;y año correspondiente al valor medido, así como el área de cada invervalo de concentración.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Se denomina PM10 a las pequeñas partículas sólidas o líquidas de polvo, cenizas, hollín, partículas metálicas, cemento ó polen, dispersas en la atmósfera y cuyo diámetro es menor a 10 µm (1 micrómetro corresponde a la milésima parte de 1 milímetro). Está formado principalmente por compuestos inorgánicos como silicatos y aluminatos, metales pesados entre otros, y material orgánico asociado a partículas de carbono (hollín). El PM10 al ser inhalado y al penetrar con facilidad al sistema respiratorio humano, causa efectos adversos a la salud de las personas específicamente a la salud respiratoria y cardiovascular, debido a que viajan más profundamente en los pulmones y por estar compuesta de elementos que son más tóxicos (como metales pesados y compuestos orgánicos que causan cáncer). La capa se construye mediante modelos geoestadístico que tienen de base la dispersión de puntos de las estaciones de monitoreo de calidad del aire de Bogotá (RMCAB), a las cuales se asocian los valores de concentración de PM10.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</idAbs>
