<idPurp>El agua subterránea constituye un recurso del subsuelo que brinda oportunidades de desarrollo a la sociedad, además de ser una alternativa para consumo humano en las zonas con demanda de agua potable y útil para llevar a cabo proyectos agroindustriales, mineros y de hidrocarburos.
Es importante ya que es una excelente fuente de suministro para consumo humano, en zonas con demanda de agua potable; además, brinda oportunidades de desarrollo a la sociedad, por ser de gran utilidad para llevar a cabo proyectos agroindustriales, mineros y de hidrocarburos, entre otros. Por otro lado contribuye al sostenimiento de corrientes superficiales (ríos, quebradas), lagos, humedales y demás ecosistemas asociados.</idPurp>
<idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;El objeto geográfico corresponde a la representación gráfica, en el sistema de referencia MAGNA-SIRGAS y en coordenadas planas cartesianas para Bogotá de El agua subterránea puede captarse a partir de condiciones dadas espontáneamente por la naturaleza, como en los manantiales, donde los niveles freáticos interceptan la superficie del terreno y el agua sale por gravedad. Para extraer el agua subterránea de los acuíferos por medios artificiales, se debe construir una captación. Una captación es cualquier instalación que permita poner a disposición del usuario el agua contenida en los acuíferos.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</idAbs>
